Bible Verse Meditating, 23 April – 29 April, 2023
- 8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
—— Psalm 138:8 (ESV) - 24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!
25 Now every athlete who [goes into training and] competes in the games is disciplined and exercises self-control in all things. They do it to win a crown that withers, but we [do it to receive] an imperishable [crown that cannot wither].
26 Therefore I do not run without a definite goal; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing].
27 But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service].
——1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (AMP) - 5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
——Titus 3:5 (AMP) - 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
——Galatians 5:17 (ESV) - 4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.
——Romans 15:4 (AMP) - 3 For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man.
4 The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Prayer, 29 April 2023
天父，我知道你仍然活着，末了必站立在地上。我要要静心等候你，你也必应允我。地和其中所充满的，世界和住在其间的，都属你。我虽然行过死荫的幽谷，也不怕遭害，因为你与我同在；你的杖，你的竿，都安慰我。感谢你带领我寻求你的面，求你赐我从你而来的力量和勇气，让我大胆开口赞美你，传扬你的名，开启我属灵信心的耳朵、眼睛和嘴巴。求你保守看顾我接下来一周在你里面的平安，让我收获清晰的思路和透彻的心，也让我把福音带给我的爸爸妈妈，让他们认识你，靠近你。
