Bible Verse Meditating, 30 April – 6 May, 2023
- 11 He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.
12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good as long as they live;
13 and also that every man should eat and drink and see and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
——Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 (AMP) - 5 We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,
——2 Corinthians 10:5 (AMP) - 19 So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];
20 and that He may send [to you] Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you,
——Acts 3:19-20 (AMP) - 13 And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.
——1 Corinthians 13:13 (AMP) - 7 so that the genuineness of your faith, which is much more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested and purified by fire, may be found to result in [your] praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
——1 Peter 1:7 (AMP) - 14 For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups—[Jews and Gentiles]—into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us]
——Ephesians 2:14 (AMP) - 24-25 Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

Prayer, 6 May 2023
阿爸天父，感谢你赐给我你的圣灵，使我走你的正路。我知道我得救是本乎恩，也因着信，这并不是出于我自己，乃是你所赐的；也不是出于行为，免得我自夸。我原是你的工作，在基督耶稣里造成的，为要叫我做正确的事，就是你所预备我行的。主啊，请用你的真智慧充满我的心思意念，也用你的同在充满我的内心，并在我里面结出你所喜悦的果子。
求你打开我的心，接受你完美的爱。 原谅我相信敌人的谎言，以及我心甘情愿地背离你的时候。求你快快使我脱离让我无法亲近你的世俗伤害和创伤。主啊，你是这个世界上爱的唯一源泉，因为你就是爱。我祈求给我一颗温柔感恩的心，感谢你在我还死在过犯中时先爱了我。感谢你赐予耶稣，我的救主，用他的宝血洗净了我的罪孽，使我与你和好。求你帮助我今天和每一天都来到你面前，接受你带给我生命里无条件的爱，教导我坚固我的信心并接受你温柔的爱。
